SOUTH DOWNS AND WEALD NETWORK

Network Launch Event

Tuesday 7th May 2024

4pm to 5pm  (on-line)

Exciting news....
New Froebelian network in the South of England!

Have you been exploring or practising a Froebelian approach in Kent, Sussex and surrounding areas, or perhaps you're eager to learn more?

We are excited to introduce the South Downs and Weald Network, a new networking group dedicated to fostering Froebelian practice in the South of England. Our aim is to create a supportive community where educators can come together to learn, share ideas, and inspire one another in their journey towards providing the best possible Froebelian early years education.

Whether you're already well-versed in Froebelian principles or just starting to explore this approach, all are welcome to join us.

Our inaugural meetup is scheduled for Tuesday 7th May, at 4 pm. This online gathering will serve as an opportunity for introductions, discussions, and networking. But that's not all – we have a special guest lined up for our first session: Professor Tina Bruce CBE, a prominent figure in early childhood education and Froebelian pedagogy whose insights will help ignite our passion for Froebelian networking.

Following our initial online meetup, we hope to organise visits to various settings in our area to see Froebelian principles in action. These visits will offer invaluable hands-on experiences and opportunities to see first-hand how Froebelian practice is implemented across different settings.

To join us for this exciting journey, register your interest below and we'll send you a link shortly before the meeting. Whether you are a teacher or practitioner in a setting or studying/teaching about Froebel at a university or college in Sussex or Kent, you are most welcome.
